This is a closer shot of the hemicycle. The hemicycle is the portion of the parliament where all of the members can meet. Obviously though, they don't meet here for their plenary! That'd be too easy and cost effective. Instead, for a week every month, the Parliament packs up and goes to Strasbourg, France. Why? It's a long story, and perhaps I'll post it somewhere on the site. Look for a link here at some point. Anyway, the hemicycle is located in this building, and a few more large conference halls.
