This was a restaurant overlooking the stern. It was always booked in advance, so much so that they had to limit how many times people could eat there in a single voyage. The painting was commissioned by a female artist who had to come in and redo the picture after WW2. Soldiers being ferried across the Atlantic in the QM had posted things on it, carved their initials, etc. The artist was unhappy, to say the least.
